The Fast Focusing Center offers a distinctive system of business coaching that combines traditional approaches with innovative techniques such as master minding, creative goal setting, and searching out of internal blocks, negative internal dialogue and limiting beliefs. An example of a limiting belief and, perhaps, also of a negative internal dialogue, is: “There’s no way I can increase my business in this economic climate.
In our coaching process, we will guide you in asking questions about such beliefs, for example:
- Is that really true?
- How do you know?
- Who do you know who has said that?
- Has anyone you regard as a mentor said that?
Asking such questions is no guarantee that the belief will dissolve, although that may happen. But at the very least, the questions bring related thoughts into the clear light of day and consciousness so that you may move on to setting achievable goals.
For many of the participants in our programs, the process of identifying limiting beliefs, putting them aside and then setting goals that are unencumbered with such beliefs, brings an exhilarating sense of relief and freedom that often provide the basis for break-through growth and expansion.
